Taking positive action to turn the tide on climate change...

Sandgate Environmental Action (SEA) is a community action group, set up by The Sandgate Society in 2022 to take positive action to build a sustainable future for the village of Sandgate and to turn the tide on climate change.

SEA has a collaborative approach and as well as its own projects, works to support other local, national and global sustainability and environmental initiatives.
Our understanding of climate change and how we can combat it is fast developing and complex. SEA aims to be a place where people can discuss, share and learn more about these issues that affect us all.

SEA believes that everybody can do something to make a positive difference; everybody can be part of the solution not the problem.

SEA meets at 7pm on the last Thursday of every month in the Reading Room at the Old Fire Station in Sandgate but please always check our events page in case it changes that month for any reason.

If you’d like to find out more or have an idea or project you’d like to promote or get support with please do come along. It’s very informal and friendly plus, there’s always cake.
